Campaign Hat Rain Cover - Translucent Clear

Walt's Tips:

Here are a couple of rain cover tricks given to me by a member of the Georgia State Patrol.

• -If you often use your campaign hat with a rain cover, or only use your hat for rainy days, use a blow dryer soften the plastic covers and give you a tighter, more professtional look.
• -If your department issues two hats for year round use, i.e. one straw and one felt, keep your rain cover on the hat you are not using for daily use this season.  This way, you can only apply the cover only twice a year.  With the cover on the hat that is technically "out of dress code" for that time of year, no one will notice that your new time-saving trick.
